About Our Founder
Eugenia Hull, President
Tenacious and creative problem solver with a deep understanding of nonprofit organizations. Dedicated, organized, and methodical. Committed to helping nonprofits achieve.
Eugenia is a highly principled and effective leader who gets the job done. An attorney by training, Eugenia has more than 20 years of experience working in, with, and for nonprofit organizations. At a very young age, Eugenia was introduced to voluntarism and community service by her grandmother. As early as age four, Eugenia read to non-ambulatory residents at a local nursing home. It was through that experience that her commitment to and love for community service was born.
Throughout her life, Eugenia has worked on issues as varied as voting rights, homelessness, animal welfare, literacy, maternal health, and juvenile justice.
Eugenia holds a BA from The College of Wooster and a JD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. After graduating from law school, she began her career in communications law with a broadcasting trade association and the federal government. While on maternity leave, Ms. Hull founded a non-profit organization focused on child and maternal health, with an emphasis on healthful living. When she returned to the workforce, Eugenia continued in the nonprofit sector, working with multiple nonprofits and philanthropic organizations – both local and national – to help improve outcomes for children, families, and communities in the areas of adoption, literacy, homelessness, and early childhood education.
After witnessing a homicide of a young man at the hands of an off-duty law enforcement officer, Eugenia returned to the practice of law and worked for the next 15+ years in community prosecution.
During the height of the COVID-19 emergency, Eugenia returned to working with nonprofits and other small businesses who were struggling to survive in the pandemic economy. Working with various federal grant programs, Eugenia dedicated herself to assisting nonprofits and small businesses receive the maximum COVID grant funds to which they are entitled under the law.
Eugenia now lives on the Eastern Shore of Maryland with her husband, David. Their blended family consists of three adult children, two teenaged grandchildren, two cats (Chloe and Felix) and one very sweet dog (Milo).
Our Approach
Individualized. Proactive. Strategic.
The needs of our clients are at the center of our approach. When working with a client, our first task is to learn. Your organization is as unique as its Mission and as distinctive as its people. To drive greater success, we need to understand your organization’s past, its present, and its future. What is the history? Where is the organization today? What is the vision for tomorrow and beyond?
Together, we will create a plan – prioritizing immediate needs while developing a strategic approach to address the mid- and long-range goals.
